  • Preparing Chicken At Home

One of my favorite chicken recipes is one I concocted myself based on several fine chicken salads I had had in restaurants. I adapt to whatever is on hand. The basics are baked, boneless chicken breasts or those little tenderloins. Having those already cooked makes the rest a snap!

Simply cut into small, bite size pieces, toss with dried cranberries and walnuts, maybe some mandarin or fresh oranges and a small amount of fruit dressing.

Excellent, looks exotic, cheap and actually good for you if you don’t go crazy on the dressing. Many people around the world love to eat chicken, therefore they are always on look our for recipes with chicken of whatever kind for new trials. Grilling, roasting, frying, or boiling are all methods available for preparing chicken and allow the consumer to discover and try the taste of it on their own.

If you require recipes with chicken that include lots of spices you’d better get from an indian dish because they specialize with spices and they know what kind of spice to put in the food. For more continental kind of recipe with chicken you can check out in the various cook books available in the bookshops and also available on the internet too.Try out various recipes with chicken from the many websites in the internet and you’ll find a great of a variety to try out and I bet you’ll love them. In todays world why not be experimental and go from boiled chicken to fried chicken to give your taste buds more to choose from and let you know what you like best. Be adventures and try out new recipes with chicken. There comes a point in your cooking journey where you no longer need recipes for chicken, or much else for that matter.

There are lots of recipes for chicken out there. I’ve tried lots of them and most are very good. I don’t like to spend the time it takes though, so here’s how I do it. Loosely fill the crockpot with chicken. Add water to just cover the chicken. Add a full handful each of garlic powder and onion powder, sprinkling over the top. Seriously, a real handful, not just sprinkle some out of the bottle. You can also use the real thing, a couple onions and several garlic cloves, but powder is more convenient. Use whatever seasoning suits your taste. You can use onions and garlic but if that doesn’t agree with you, add a bullion cube or two.

Cover and cook on low until done. There will be an incredible smell during the last few hours of cooking. You will realize it’s finished when you don’t notice the strong odor anymore. 6 to 8 hours of simmering, considering how your crockpot works. Many chickeb recipes use chicken without bones and skin, but if you desire to make soup using the juices, the bones will make it very tasty. Serve it warm right out of the crockpot with a side dish option, or wrap it separately and put it in the freezer until you need to use cooked chicken.
