  • 3 Exercises To Build Biceps Without Weights

    I have decided to post a summary of a number of the best exercises to build biceps without weights.

    Narrow Grip Push Ups. When you do a push-up with a narrow grip you will place a focus on exercising the inner chest and triceps more. For a narrow grip push-up move your arms closer together so that they are almost touching. You will find that your triceps will be required to work much harder than usual and you should feel a nice burn. Narrow grip push-ups also work well for shaping the inner part of the chest might otherwise have been neglected using basic pushups.

    Although not all of these exercises primarily work the biceps, they still work the biceps as an additional bodypart and make superb bicep exercises without weights.

    Push-ups. The old classic exercise that everyone thinks about when they refer to bodyweight workouts. Push-ups work many muscle groups at the same time including the chest, triceps, back, abs, biceps and shoulders. It is a great all round exercise and simaltaneously works multiple muscle for a great all body workout. Keep your back straight throughout the exercise and concentrate on slowly going through the movement, working all those muscle groups. For best results do this exercise slowly and steadily increase the repetitions that you do on a weekly basis. A great way to spice up a push-up is to put weights on your back. Find a back-pack and fill it up with books to add resistance to the exercise to help stimulate exrea muscle growth.

    One Arm Push-Ups. Rocky does this in the movies I am sure you have seen! But you do not need to start off with a full one arm push-up. A good idea to start with is to elevate one of your arms up onto a box or a medicine ball and have the other arm resting on the floor. Then perform the pushup whilst focussing on primarily using the pectorial muscle of the elevated push-up arm. Once you improve with this style of one arm push up then you can try moving to the real one arm push-up where the second arm is off the ground altogether. This is very challenging and it might well take a bit of time for you to get to that stage. But keep at it and you will be doing a Rocky style one arm push up in no time!

    Not being able to do many pull-ups or chin-ups can be frustrating, and trying to increase the quantity of them even more so. I know how it feels. Beneath is a list of the very best practices to beef up your Pull-up number. have fun.

    Increase Pull-ups

    Do More Pull-ups. As with several things, you get better with more experience. Most of the time, exercise is what you need. Walk up to the bar, and try to do one more Pull-up than you did last time. Every time you test Pull-ups, try to beat your previous record.

    Work with Resistance Bands. Using the resistance band, make a loop in the bar then hook your feet in that loop. In this way, you will get to know how to perform pull-ups utilizing the proper form and therefore, your strength and stamina will be greatly enhanced.     Conduct Negatives. Grab onto the bar and either jump up to the top position or stand on something to get up there. Then lower don in the slowest way possible. When you get to the bottom, hop back up and do it again. If you do this, your muscles will be greatly strengthened thus you can perform a lot more pull ups.

    Steer Away From using Pull-Up Machines.When you use these machines, you will not be able to use your stabilizer muscles considering that the machine will do the balancing for you. They also push you into a fixed movement which doesnt produce more strength during real Pull-ups.

    Vary Your Rep Ranges. Change training with low reps for strength and high reps (assisted with resistance bands) for endurance. By alternating your routine you avoid allowing your muscles become familiar with a particular type of training, and promote faster muscle growth and greater strength.

    Use Momentum. Make use of a hips to give you a slight burst of momentum at the bottom of the movement to help you up. This is a relatively subtle movement, you definitely shouldnt be swinging your entire body around.

    Practice With a Spotter. have a friend assist you in doing pull-ups. However, inform them to not do any unnecessary lifting.

    Try Chin-ups. Chin-ups is a not too difficult routine than pull-ups and it is a great routine to build up muscle strength which you will need to have in performing pull-ups. If you can do these, focus on raising the number of them you can do, then go back and attempt Pull-ups again.

    Dont Go To Failure. You got that one properly. I know as well as you do that you ought to generally take your weight training sets to malfunction, but Pull-ups are the exclusion. Many times I see people trying to press out the last few reps of a Pull-ups set with terrible form. Theyre clinging there, using every ounce of their might to bang out another terrible looking rep. Theyll swing, Kipping themselves up, or start climbing some invisible ladder. This wont make you any stronger, and it will probably actually wind up making you weaker.
